Hay fever has been given many different names such as allergic rhinitis, pollinosis or nasal allergies. You can contract hay fever due to certain air borne dust particles exposed in the environment. These dust particles can be pollen, dander which can cause allergic reaction. Hay fever problem mainly begins from surroundings by which anyone can be affected. Staying away, from any of the allergy triggering factors is the best solution. Even though in this condition you do not have any fever it is still called hay fever.

For hayfever,sometimes your eyes get itchy just make black tea and put it in the fridge make it quite cold , keep on dipping the cotton wool in the tea and put it on your eyes,You will feel fresh and relaxed.

Apple Cider Vinegar and Hayfever - This ailment is marked by watery eyes, sneezing and running nose, in other words there is an excess of fluid which the body is drastically trying to offload. For an effective relief, honey and cider vinegar should be utilized which will bring excellent results. A tablespoonful of honey should be taken after each meal for approximately a fortnight before the onset of the hay-fever season. The ordinary dosage of cider vinegar and honey should then be taken viz: two teaspoons of cider vinegar and two of honey in a glass of water, three times a day. This dosage should be maintained during the entire hay-fever season.

There may be sneezing, sinus pressure and facial pain especially around the eyes nose and forehead, swollen allergic shiners which is blue-colored skin under the eyes, runny nose and nasal congestion and watery or itchy eye s.

The symptoms can be disruptive enough to have a negative impact like fatigue, irritability and sleeplessness. These symptoms can also be triggered by things like grass, tree pollen, weeds, cockroaches and mold.

Stay away from melon. Having hay fever can make you more prone to food allergies. Researchers note that many people seem to have an allergic-like reaction after eating certain foods--what's called cross-reactivity. For instance, those allergic to ragweed often experience cross-reactive symptoms when they eat watermelon, cantaloupe or honeydew. And those with birch tree-pollen allergies sometimes react to cherries, apples, pears, peaches, carrots and potatoes. Herbal teas may also produce an adverse reaction in some people.

Avoid going out early in the morning or late in the evening. At this time pollen count in air is comparatively more. Avoid using nasal spray continuously for three days. It may increase congestion of nose. Avoid smoking and air pollutants.
