Edgy Baby Clothing and Gifts

Throughout the last couple of years, it has become increasingly popular to dress your child in a more edgy fashion. However, this isn't easily done when your shopping is done at a wholesale store or mass marketing chain. Most of the trends in baby clothing still reign supreme; such as pastel colors and sweet wording, but this isn't always what someone wants to dress their child in. You have two options the first is to purchase your child's clothing at an extremely marked up price, from a specialty shop within the mall; or to take your search online, which often times holds the possibility to save you a lot of time and money within the comfort of your own home.

There are several different ways to dress your child in a fashion forward, and edgy way. Whether you are wanting to portray the Gothic side of things, all the way to a nineteen fifty's throw back style, as well as a punk baby fashion statement. All of these things can be achieved by simply taking heed of the adult fashions. You will need to think in miniatures, however the basics are still the same when you are dressing your child in an edgy fashion.

First and foremost, you need to think of comfort before style; this is true in all fashions, however is especially important while you are clothing a child. When you are thinking of placing a studded belt upon your child, steer clear of anything that has sharp edges that may cause the child to get poked or scratched; taking into key that a lot of these fashions tend to exhibit one form or another of discomfort, however they should be toned down a notch or two to be appropriate for your child. This is even true when you are trying to throw a chain upon the belt of your skater or punk to be, as the length of the chain could pose a choking hazard if not properly thought of. Try to use common sense when dressing your child, and remember if you can find your child's edgy style in organic try to purchase them; not only do they help to aid our world in keeping green, but will keep your child from the many unsafe chemicals that normal clothing is exposed to during the dying process.

Secondly, remember that accessories are what make an outfit, it is all well and good when you have thrown together an edgy shirt or onesie, with a pair of dark wash pants. However, without those adorable edgy shoes, belt, or even a sleek pair of shades to cover those eyes; it isn't truly an outfit but simply clothes. Try to express some creativity in selecting your child's daily outfit, and if they are old enough allow them to select some of what they wear. Chances are, they will be more likely to enjoy their clothing; if they are given a choice during their morning routine, as well as during the shopping experience. Remember that an edgy style begins with a little bit of imagination, and a little creativity in finding the perfect outfit.

Show your baby's style by dressing them up in your favorite band's t-shirts and onesies.
